They have been wonderful in caring for my 3 dogs. Very available, even meeting me after hours to diagnose an emergency case of bloat one of my dogs experienced and advising on my best options to save his life, and thankfully he is fine today. They always take the time to make a followup phone call to make sure everything is O.K. the day after my pet had a visit. Very caring people.
I recently switched from another local vet because they could never accommodate my schedule. This is a breath of fresh air...everyone who works here is friendly, accomodating, and a joy to deal with even with my beast of a dog! I highly recommend them...compassionate, pleasant, and very little waiting time. Great great great!

I took my guinea pig Potato to her appointment today to see what was going on with her sniffles/sneezing and they were beyond friendly and welcoming. I was provided with a bunch of information I have not known before and everything went so smoothly. Such lovely people :) 10/10 experience.
The Animal Hospital of Sussex County is the go to vet in the county in my opinion. I am very selective about the vets who I will allow to care for the non-human members of our family. We have a wide assortment of dogs, cats, sheep and chickens that have been cared for by the team. The level of education and expertise is amazing. We had a dog come down with a very rare condition and the team was able to quickly diagnose and treat her. We have also had the opportunity to use their house call service which is a wonderful alternative than to having to transport our large dogs or sheep to the clinic. Our menagerie says "Thank You" to the entire team at AHSC.
